Winter is interior season here
Orange gets frost for a good part of the year, and that rules out exterior painting for months at a time. It does not affect interior work at all. If anything the colder months are the sensible time to get inside work done, because we are not competing with the exterior schedule and you are not living around an open house in the middle of summer. Plenty of our interior jobs are booked deliberately for winter for exactly that reason.
Federation interiors are not flat walls
A lot of Orange housing stock through East Orange, Bowen and the older parts of the city is Federation or interwar, and the inside of those homes carries picture rails, ceiling roses, deep skirting, panelled doors and high cornices. Cutting in around that detail cleanly is slow work and it is where most of the difference between a good job and an average one shows up. Rolling the walls is the easy part. The edges are the job.

Most interior repaints happen in occupied homes. We use low-VOC products so rooms are usable quickly, we sheet floors and cover furniture properly rather than draping a sheet over the middle of it, and we tidy at the end of each day.
