Interior Painting

A fresh interior changes the way a room feels. We sand, fill and gap every surface before a drop of paint goes on. Oil-based sealers on woodwork, premium Dulux topcoats on walls, and a walk-through with John before we call it done. That level of preparation is what separates a paint job from a finish that lasts.

Exterior Painting

Orange summers push past 35 degrees. Winter mornings sit below zero. Exterior paint in the Central West works harder than anywhere on the coast, and the preparation has to match. We schedule exterior work around the weather, not against it, because a coat applied in the wrong conditions will fail inside two years regardless of the brand on the tin.

Heritage & Federation

Federation homes are all brush work. Three colours minimum, often more, with every moulding, corbel and fretwork picked out by hand. The timber profiles on a century-old verandah post were carved to catch light and shadow, and they deserve paint applied with the same care they were shaped with. We work with heritage consultants and Orange City Council when the project requires it.

Commercial Painting

Commercial work is about timing and disruption. A restaurant cannot close for two weeks. A medical practice cannot have fumes in the waiting room. We work with small builders and business owners we know personally, scheduling around trading hours and staging the job so your business keeps running while the paint goes on.

Deck & Fence Staining

Outdoor timber in the Central West takes a beating. Summer UV bleaches it, winter frost cracks the grain, and spring rain finds every gap the previous coat left behind. We strip back to bare timber when the old finish has failed, or sand and recoat when it just needs a refresh. The right product choice matters more than the brand: oil for hardwood decks, acrylic stain for softwood fences, and solid paint for anything that has already been painted.

Colour Consulting

Colour on a screen looks nothing like colour on a wall. The light in Orange is different from the light in Sydney. South-facing rooms stay cool and blue. North-facing rooms warm up everything you put on them. John has painted over 3,000 homes and has seen what works in Central West light and what falls flat. A quick conversation at the quoting stage saves hours of second-guessing at the paint counter.
